Scentsy! Mixing it up

Two amaHzing Scentsy things:

1. Online Scentsy Party, hosted by a dear friend!
 AND

2.  Did you know you can mix Scentsy scents?!  "Recipes" below!

First up, through the beauty of the interwebs I met Nicci. Sure, she might mock my love of Twilight, but deep down we both find Will Ferrel movies hilarious, exchange tweets about HIMYM, and enjoy a good football game (even if the Packers and Vikings don't exactly mix & she finds that stupid Big Lebowski movie tolerable..).  Oh, her kid baby toddler is really cute, too!

We can both agree on this: Scentsy makes wonderful wick-less candle systems (& other fragrant products), which also are great gifts!
So, Nicci's hosting an Online Scentsy Party!


Beyond the basic wonderful Scent Bars, you can combine fragrances to create even better aromas!
I first discovered Clove & Cinnamon to be slightly strong for my liking, so I added Cinnamon Vanilla and BAM.  Amahzing cinnamony-clovey-vanillayness.

In fact - if you find any of the scents overwhelming, just add a cube of Vanilla Cream to even it out!

Here are some other great combos for the upcoming holidays:

• Peach Cinnamon Cobbler: Peach a la Mode & Clove & Cinnamon

Vlogtastic - Scentsy Sunday: Fall & Winter

Howdy all!  I hosted my first-ever in home Scentsy party yesterday & had a blast sharing all about these wonderful systems! (Thank you to all my wonderful friends who came & supported me!)

I even put out a nice fall-inspired spread:

This vlog shares with you my five favorite fall & winter scents.  They are *perfect* to get you into the fall & winter spirit with their cozy and warm scents!

Be sure to watch for TWO surprises.

Also, forgot to mention this in my ramblings, but the Pumpkin Roll scent is hit or miss.  It's good, but feedback tells me there are other favorites out there (like the ones in the vlog!)

Vlogtastic - Scentsy Sunday: Corner Cafe

I decided to try something new, at the advice of a friend, Emily (who, be tee dubs, was my first Scentsy customer!).  Huge thanks to Em for that and this idea!

Every once in awhile I will air a Sunday Scentsy Vlog highlighting some scents, sharing new info with you & maybe a surprise or two.  For this first vlog (in mah pajamas -- surprise), I just wanted to get a feel for things.  Give me feedback, but I already know to slow down and sit up straight. 
Tell me if you like this idea, what scents you want to know more about, and any other details from my life that you need to hear about.

A New Endeavor: Scentsy!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to announce I am a Scentsy Independent Consultant!

Don't know about Scentsy? well then you have not been in my house lately....

Scentsy is a system of wickless candles and home fragrances.
Using a low-watt bulb, high grade fragrance oils, and food grade wax (all these things premiums), a candle-like system exists without a flame!
And they smell wonderful.

Now if you know me, I'm not one to jump on a bandwagon unless I really like & believe in something (remember, I don't like butterflies...).

The warmers are fairly priced and come in combo packs to set you up!
