In Search of...

Ok wonderful readers.  I need your eyes and links.

I'm in search of a peacock dress for our rehearsal dinner.  So far?  The results are not good.
A simple google shopping search came up with some, er, interesting results:

This one is a little too pea-cocky.

This one is too fancy AND over the top.

Really? NO.

Holy-Housecoat. NO

I tried "normal" sites and found some cuter things, but still not right:

Better, but not fancy enough.

And of course I checked Etsy, but am still on the search...

So now, I ask you dear readers to keep your eyes peeled.
Let me know if you find anything! Please copy/paste links below!!!!

Thank you -- and Happy Easter to those who celebrate!

  2. Ok.... what the hell is up with designers and peacock dresses? This is HARD.

Here's one that is fun and fancy, but expensive: http://www.newyorkdress.com/Tony_Bowls/TS110597.html (and I hate when the word "prom" is used to describe a dress, way to kill it for those of us past 17yrs of age)

I love this (just hate the whore that's wearing it), but I can't find out who/what it is: http://www.iheartthat.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/tangerinelounge.jpg

In other news: Did you know there's a peacock Halloween costume...?

  4. Yikes... those are not pretty. Except for the last one. How fancy do you want the dress to be? I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I'm sure you've thought of it, but you could always pick a solid dress and do some awesome peacock accessories...

Way expensive, but you could totally do this cheaper:

  6. Maybe you can have that Christina Gowns maxi dress cut right above the knee and call it a cute and spring-y little dress? It's really pretty, I think. :D
